Superhero stories have always captive minds from the young right to the very old and they can help teach important lesson through their stories. 

Here at Twiggly we love the environment and recognise it needs real superheroes. So, we created 'Greenboy and the Plastic Planet' a superhero story for the youngest of our society to help introduce children to environmental awareness in a fun and friendly way. We hope this tory can ignite a love for nature that will last a lifetime and get children asking those very important questions like 'How can a kid help nature?', 'What can my family do for the Earth?', 'Can kids be superheroes too?' and 'Is there really and island of plastic in the oceans?'

The story follows Ellis a young boy determined to help his local forest, after a long day cleaning he needed a rest and sat against a tree. Whilst having his well deserved rest he spots a glowing green stone, his curiosity pulls him in and before he knows it he is zooming above trees, shrinking down to ants, finding all sorts, even underpants!

His adventure takes him down a river, to a beach and out into the ocean, fighting pollution as he goes and making animal friends along the way.
